How much are the classes?
Classes are $10 in-person. You can save $2 by pre-registering online. This year we're also offering a summer pass for just $75, a $45 savings!
We encourage students to purchase classes online, as our teacher's won't be carrying or accepting cash. You can register at class with a credit card through our square reader, or through this website.
What should I bring to class?
Weather conditions will vary throughout the summer, so keep the forecast in mind. Consider bringing:
- a bottle of water
- hand towel
- yoga mat (or body towel)
- long sleeve jacket or cover-up
- bug spray
Just a regular yoga mat?
Most of the yogi's in class will use a regular yoga mat. Consider purchasing an inexpensive one at Target that you can toss in the wash machine as it will be exposed to grass and dirt. For more direct contact with the earth try a yogi toes or beach towel - also easy to transport and wash. You can always go commando and practice right in the grass!
What should I wear?
Wear workout clothes and plan for the weather. The evenings cool down a bit by the lake, though we'll heat up during practice. Bring a light jacket or long sleeve to layer if needed. Don't have athletic clothes? Wear comfortable clothes without a lot of snaps and buttons. Check out our logo apparel here!
Where exactly at Lake Calhoun do we meet?
We practice at the south end of Lake Calhoun, where Washburn meets the lake. See map below:
